the work of israeli designer or leviteh, ‘mmi’ is a screenless camera that interfaces with smartphones to permit the remote shooting of photographs and video. the camera itself contains a built-in kickstand as well as standard horseshoe mount for tripods. insertable suction cup or magnetic connectors increase the range of spaces in which ‘mmi’ can be mounted and used. by accessing the app onto iPhone, iPod touch or other smartphones, users can remotely view what the camera sees, adjusting the angle and shooting settings, including white balance, focus, burst or timer mode, and lens tilt. the application also permits the immediate uploading of images and video to web.
